International Rose Test Garden
After living here for 2.5 years, I finally made it to Portland's International Rose Test Garden.
It. Was. Gorgeous.
Being an amateur "botanist" (with my single, sad jalapeño plant), I have tons of respect for the sheer amount of flowers they maintain here. It is really an incredible treasure in Portland.
I read that the peak of the rose season is usually in June, so I can't even imagine how lovely these must be during that month. Here are just a few highlights.
