District Donuts

Nola holds a special place in my heart. I went once when I was driving cross country. That visit was short and I really didn't get the chance to see the city. 

 I visited again, though, in February for Mardi Gras and absolutely loved it. Being over 21 helped too...

Smoked Pork Pizza at Domenica

My best friend who lives and goes to school in New Orleans took me to all of her favorite spots. We also explored some new favorites. 

We had amazing pizza at Domenica. You must try the White Pizza and the Smoked Pork Pizza. I'm still dreaming of them. 

We chowed down on donuts at District: Donuts. Sliders. Brew. Twice in two days. #noregrets

We ate (too) many beignets. Again twice in two days. 

We ate breakfast followed by brunch followed by lunch. 

We walked 13 miles in one day (to balance the donuts and beignets and pizza and adult beverages.
